Networking with SmartPhone and Desktop PC Win10

I have a desktop PC with dual monitors enabled and an S7 edge smartphone.

When I started this endeavor I could have the smartphone be the master and the desktop was a slave for the lyrics. In production I need the reverse of this and it will not connect over the network.

Also in all my network connections in the past I could not get the remote function to work :(

What info do you need to help this out?

Try the fixed IP option. Put the IP address of your PC in the fixed IP field of the phone. Also make sure they are on the same subnet. Ie, the first 3 numbers of the IP address should be the same.

Yes, same as before, no results in connecting them :-(

I can get the phone to be the master and the desktop display lyrics and control the phone, but not vice versa.

Home and Church networks are the same.

Hm is everything showing the same version number? I can run a test with the latest Android to make sure nothing got broken in the release.

What IPs are you seeing on each machine? Did you try just chord display setting on the phone first?

      Windows: Network master
      Phone: Chord or Lyrics display

Ok, so I am having the same issue. I can get the android smartphone (master) to display the desktop (slave), but not the desktop (master) to control the android smartphone (slave0 NOR can I get the desktop (Master) to display to another desktop (slave).

    Windows 10 on desktops.

    Desktop IP 10.0.0.14
    Slave IP 10.0.0.6

So, on the slaves, do you have 'Fixed IP' set, and dialed in to the IP address of the master (as displayed on its network settings page)? And only one master?

    Jeff,
I'm wondering if its the port number. Can you try an experiment for me? Copy the WSB install folder to a new folder, then run two copies side by side, and see if you can get them to connect to each other? This will tell me if, perhaps, your PC cannot bind to the outbound socket as a master.
