Greg is Lead Pastor and Worship Leader at Lighthouse. He grew up in a small northern Minnesota town called Moose Lake. As a musician he moved to Southern California in pursuit of rock and roll dreams. It was there that he met Jesus and his wife Pam. Jesus changed everything and Greg began writing songs and making music for The Lord. He and his wife formed a band called ‘The Edifiers’ with others from their church. Soon they would be traveling all over the world preaching the gospel through music.
In 1988, Greg was asked to become the youth pastor at Calvary Chapel of Downey, Ca. He accepted and his teaching ministry began to have impact. The youth ministry went from 15 kids to 250 in just a few years.
In 1994, Greg was approached by a group of believers in Twin Falls, Idaho about starting a new work. After much prayer and many unmistakable signposts from The Lord, Greg, Pam and their 3 children moved to Twin Falls in October of 1994. The church grew immediately, outgrowing their first building by 1999. They purchased a sporting goods store and renovated it. Again the church outgrew the building. Never one to play it safe, Pastor Greg and the church were able to purchase an 11 acre property with over 80,000 square feet of building on it.
Lighthouse continues grow and thrive and have a world impact through their Christian school (with over 300 students), missionary outreaches, Seeds Family Worship Ministry, Sourceflix film ministry and many others. Greg has written many praise songs that have been sung in churches all over the world. Lighthouse has a thriving creative culture which is facilitated by their audio and video recording studios.
Not only is Greg the Lead Pastor of Lighthouse, but he and his wife Pam are worship leaders as well.
Greg is currently on a health kick. He is on a diet he calls the ‘Stupid Diet’. He hopes to write a book by the same title and make millions.
